If you have never ventured into the world of BDSM but would like to explore it this checklist may assist you in deciding which areas may interest you.

Many people believe that it is necessary to receive some form of pain to take part in a BDSM scene. Nothing could be further from the truth. Whether you have a particular fetish, a desire to dominate or submit, or an interest in experiencing bondage and discipline, it is always better to have at least tried it once than to be forever wondering.

If you intend engaging in a scene, whether privately with a lover or partner, or in a commercial establishment with a professional Mistress/submissive the following checklist will assist you and your partner in exploring your particular interests. The items on the first list below have been compiled with a novice in mind, and nothing has been suggested in it which I would consider to be inappropriate for a beginner. By all means use this as a means of introducing yourself to your prospective BDSM partner whether you are indulging in a private or commercial scene.

• Do you usually initiate sex with your partners?
• Are you interested in role play where you and your partner take on a particular role and act out a fantasy?
